Gal Gadot Finds Enemies In Sean Bean, Eva Green In 'Wonder Woman' Standalone Film

Gal Gadot's "Wonder Woman" standalone film is slowly shaping up as Sean Bean and Eva Green are reportedly offered the role as the main villains.

According to Umberto Gonzales of Heroic Hollywood, Sean Bean will reportedly play Ares the God of War while Eva Green will play the role of Circe Sorceress.

Ares has always been depicted as a troublemaker in DC universe and for good reason since he revels in war, after all.

Circe, meanwhile, is also an immortal who happens to hate Wonder Woman very much.

"Immortal and undying, she is a centuries-old enchantress with goddess-level powers. Her place in history is famous for Homer's Odyssey. She has also been a member of the Injustice Gang," said this bio.

Sean Bean played a lot of baddies before, notably Ian Howe from "National Treasure" and Alec Trevelyan in "Goldeneye," but he's best remembered for his brief portryal of the always honorable Ned Stark.

Evan Green, meanwhile, played the villain Artemisia in "300: Rise of an Empire."

"The studio is eyeing them for the roles," wrote Gonzales. "That doesn't mean these actors got the roles. Not sure if meetings have taken place or offers have been made. Hence, the rumor stamp pending offers and further confirmation."

With the two villains, Gal Gadot's "Wonder Woman" would have her hands full, as production will reportedly start in London this November.

Previously, it was reported that Chris Pine was cast as Steve Trevor opposite Gal Gadot's "Wonder Woman. Trevor is the pilot who became the love interest of the Amazon princess.

"Steve Trevor will be no mere love interest for Gadot's Diana Prince, as there will be plenty of action to keep him busy, though plot details remain under wraps," The Wrap said.

"There had been speculation that Pine was up for a role in WB's upcoming 'Green Lantern Corps' and that the 'Wonder Woman' rumors were just a smokescreen, but that particular popular fanboy theory proved to be unfounded,"
