Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart Dating Rumors Surface; Statement Released!

Kristen Stewart has admitted in an interview that she has gotten close to co-star Nicholas Hoult while filming "Equals."

As reported by MTV, Stewart and Hoult "bonded" in the most ironic of ways -- both undergoing respective heartbreaks from Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence.

"It was incredibly painful," Stewart revealed to The Daily Beast of her very public breakup.

"It was a really good time for both of us to make this movie," she added. "Not all of my friends have been through what I've been through, or what some people have tasted at a relatively-speaking young age, and we were not expected to do anything."

"Everything that we did was explorative, and a meditation on what we already knew," she added. 

The "Twilight Saga" alum even admitted that it was a struggle for her and the "X-Men" actor to do the movie but they endured.

"We all felt akin by how much we've been through, and to utilize that is so scary," she also said. "And to acknowledge it, reassess, and jump back into it? Usually you want to move on. But at least we could use some of that for some good."

Despite his own heartbreak, Hoult revealed as well that he still does not want a world without emotions.

"I would like to feel emotional because that's part of the biggest rush of acting is when you feel something and something honest and real on set," he explained about doing "Equals."

Rumors have been circulating since last year that Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart may be dating. But in a report on Hollywood Life in October 2014, a source said that pair were indeed close but only on a platonic level.

"Kristen absolutely adores Nick," the insider revealed then. "Is she in love with him? No, not at all."

"As far as Nick is concerned, they are super tight, but that's pretty much it," the source added.
