Rumors are rife that Nina Dobrev is using her new romance with boyfriend Austin Stowell to prove that she has already moved on from her breakup with Ian Somerhalder.

The 27-year-old former "The Vampire Diaries" actress was recently spotted having PDA with her new boyfriend, "Whiplash" actor Austin Stowell, at the recent New York Fashion Week party.

Nian Dobrev and boyfriend Austin Stowell looked like they are really into each other as some of the party goers saw how sweet they were together, Realty Today said in their report.

"You can tell how much they love each other just by the way they speak and their mannerisms toward one another," an insider dished out. "Austin is such a gentleman and treats Nina with such respect."

Many believe that "The Roommate" actress wants to declare that she has coped up with her heartbreak from Ian Somerhalder, who is now married to Nikki Reed.

"It certainly seems as though Dobrev is trying to make it clear that she has moved on with her life, just as Nikki Reed's new husband has done," a report from The Inquisitr said, referring to the actress' ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder.

The new couple went public about their dating status after they were spotted on a PDA-filled vacation in St. Tropez while on board a luxury yacht.

Nina Dobrev started dating the "Whiplash" actor two months ago, after being single for a year.

Prior to the relationship, Nina Dobrev was linked to a number of celebrities like Orlando Bloom, Liam Hemsworth, and Dominic Howard but none were proven to be true.

In 2013, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder decided to call off their three-year relationship. Rumors claim that the actress rejected Ian Somerhalder's offer to settle down and get married as she is still focusing on her own career.

Ian Somerhalder married "Twilight" star Nikki Reed in April after dating for eight months.
