Gordon Ramsay Uses Twitter To Offer Job To Epileptic Chef; Terror Reputation Just An Image For TV?

Gordon Ramsay used Twitter to offer a job to an epileptic chef. The post was reported by Food Beast, which makes it seem like the "Masterchef" star's terror reputation is just an image that he is portraying for TV.

Earlier this month, Gordon Ramsay was asked for advice via Twitter by a follower named Aaron Merry. The fan explained that he was fired from the restaurant where he worked as a chef after the owners found out that he had epilepsy.

Fans then got surprised when Gordon Ramsay encouraged the Twitter follower. The notoriously frank chef even offered the epileptic chef a job.

"That's ridiculous," Gordon Ramsay tweeted to Aaron Merry. "[Send me a] direct message [and] I will offer you a job."

Prior to reaching out to the struggling chef, Gordon Ramsay previously showed that he is not as mean as he is portrayed on his cooking shows when he gave one of his chefs a hefty bonus.

According to a report from Telegraph UK, the culinary master turned TV star recently rewarded his former chef with a £2.8 million bonus.

Stuart Gillies, who is now the managing director of Gordon Ramsay's restaurant group, was given half of the share-based bonus earlier this year. The former senior chef will be able to cash the remaining amount in five years.

The amount was given even though the financial performance of Gordon Ramsay's restaurant group lowered from £44.8m in 2013 to £44.7m this year.

Gordon Ramsay explained why he still gave the bonus.

"In the context of the current economic environment, I am particularly encouraged by the excellent trading performance of our London and Las Vegas restaurants during the year," he said.

The good deeds being done by Gordon Ramsay also came amid reports that he is deep in debt.

According to a previous report from Radar Online, the chef and entrepreneur is allegedly more than $50 million deep in debt and is facing one lawsuit after another.

Alleged court documents were also posted by the news site to expose Gordon Ramsay's financial woes.

A spokesperson for Chef Gordon Ramsay was quick to deny the debt allegations.
