“Bone Wars,” Steve Carell and James Gandolfini Reunite In HBO Comedy That’s Sure To Tickle Your Funny Bone

Having just come off their feature film The Incredible Burt Wonderstone Steve Carell and James Gandolfini are getting together again for an HBO comedy film called Bone Wars.

The HBO comedy starring Steve Carell and James Gandolfini is based around the post civil war "Great Dinosaur Rush." Steve Carell is starring as Edward Drinker Cope a paleontologist feuding with fellow scientist Charles Marsh (Gandolfini).

During their real life 10-year feud the pair of scientist discovered over 160 dinosaur fossils. The "Great Dinosaur Rush" would result in the birth of American science and the eventual down fall of both scientists.

The HBO show Bone Wars starring Carell and Gandolfini is still in development. HBO is searching for a writer. Bone Wars  is being produced by HBO alum James Gandolfini and Alexander Ryan of Attaboy Prods as well as Steve Carell.

Before gettingto work on Bone Wars Steve Carell will be joining Will Ferrell and Christina Applegate in the "Anchorman" sequel "Anchorman 2:The Legend Continues in Atlanta." The sequel is set for a holiday 2013 release.

The news of the HBO dinosaur comedy comes one day after the 1993 film Jurassic Park was re-released to theaters in 3D.
