Cosy Katy Perry And Boyfriend John Mayer Steal Spotlight As Couple Attends Friend's Wedding

Katy Perry and boyfriend John Mayer engaged in a little bit of PDA while attending a friend's wedding over the weekend.

The pair even stole the limelight as they locked hands while the "Fireworks" hitmaker leaned against the "Your Body is a Wonderland" singer while they watched the Allison Williams marry Ricky Van Veen at the guests' section.

"Perry and Mayer's last breakup occurred in mid-July," said E! News. "They opted to call it quits, again. The insider didn't offer any specifics as to the reason behind the two celebs' decision to break up at the time, but noted that they're known to make up time and time again."

The two was first rumored to be dating back in June 2012 and broke up in August that same year. Two weeks later, they reunited. Radar Online reported that the reason for the breakup was because Katy Perry can get very busy and John Mayer's been pushed aside.

"Along with the reunited couple, celebs Bruce Springsteen, Andy Cohen, Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson and Lena Dunham were in attendance," it added. "E! News can confirm Mindy Kaling and Girls co-star Jemima Kirke also attended."

John Mayer and Katy Perry have reportedly been harboring a long-time grudge against Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris. The "Teenage Girl" hitmaker reportedly dissed her ex, John Mayer, in the song "Dear John."

Katy Perry's boyfriend retaliated by releasing his own track, "Paper Doll," which was supposedly a diss on Taylor Swift.

But John Mayer denied that "Paper Doll" is about Katy Perry's reported nemesis, Taylor Swift.

"I never said anything about it, but now I just go, 'Look, I can say the name Taylor Swift. She's an artist. I'm an artist. Let's just, everybody stop," he said. "Nobody's got an incurable cancer. We're rich people who get to live out our dreams. Let's just stop it."
