Blake Shelton To Officiate Kelly Clarkson’s Wedding To Brandon Blackstock, Shelton Told Blackstock “Get Your Head Out Of You’re A** and Marry That Girl” [VIDEO]

Kelly Clarkson is engaged to Blake Shelton's manager Brandon Blackstock and Shelton will officiate the wedding once a date is set.

At the Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday night Kelly Clarkson confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that Blake Shelton would sing at the wedding after he performs the ceremony.

"He's not only singing; he's marrying us," Clarkson said. "He totally is. He's done it before with people."

Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock have been dating since late 2011 and announced their engagement over Twitter in December. Clarkson tweeted,

"I wanted y'all to know! Happiest night of my life last night!"

Blackstock is not only the manager of country super star Blake Shelton; he is also the stepson of country music legend Reba McEntire. Blake Shelton is doing more than performing the ceremony at Kelly Clarkson's wedding he is also taking the credit for the engagement too.

In an interview with Hollyscoop Blake Shelton said he gave Blackstock some advice about life and his future, encouraging him to marry Clarkson.

"I told Brandon, 'Man, you need to grow up and you figure out that you need to marry this girl, Shelton said. "I am going on the record saying, 'I will do the music at the wedding or whatever you want to do. I'll be that guy. I will play for four hours if I have to, 'cause you need to get you head out of your a-- and ask that girl to marry you."

Clarkson spoke with ET saying the wedding plans are coming together pretty quick. She already has the dress and knows in what month she wants to have the wedding. There is no official date yet. Clarkson, Shelton and Blackstock all have busy schedules to work around.
