INFINITE Ranks Number 1 for Imported Album on Japan Oricon Chart

Popular idol group INFINITE's new album, New Challenge, has been at the number 1 spot for 2 weeks in a row for imported album on the Japan Oricon chart.

It was revealed today that the album has been at the top for 2 weeks in a row.

This album features songs such as leader Sunggyu's solo song remix and a self-composed song by Woohyun.

This chart focuses on albums that have not officially been released in Japan.

INFINITE's agency stated, "All the members were happily surprised by the news that their album had been on this chart. The group had been busy with their album preparations in Korea and Japan and had been very tired. This is good news for them."

Last year, INFINITE held a Japan arena tour in Yokohama, Nagoya, Kobe, Fukuoka and others and showed off their immense popularity.

On the other hand, INFINITE is currently topping music charts with their new song, "Man in Love."

They also revealed their jacket photos for their Japanese album on their official website.

The new Japanese full length album will be released on June 6.

Earlier this year, INFINITE released a unit group called INFINITE H as they made their debut with their mini album Fly High.

Last month, they released their 4th mini album, New Challenge, and topped charts and music programs.

INFINITE also recently ranked number 1 on the Hanteo charts as well.

INFINITE is a 7 member boy group that debuted under Woollim Entertainment. They are one of the top idol groups that are both popular in Korea and Japan.
