Top Female Actress Kim Tae Hee-Lee Min Jung, 'No More Controversy about Acting'

For much of their careers, actresses Kim Tae Hee, Lee Min Jung and Lee Yeon Hee have had two tags attached to their names. Beautiful but bad actresses.

Lee Yeon Hee has always been in the middle of acting controversies wherever she set foot. For example, her works in MBC's 'East of Eden' and SBS's 'Ghost' were targets of major criticism for her issues with pronunciation and vocal projections. Viewers have always been mesmerized by her looks, but not so much with her acting.

But in the new MBC drama 'House of Koo' she has surprised many critics and viewers with poise and maturity in her acting. Though only as a cameo, she made a strong impression and displayed a variety of emotions that struck a chord with the viewers that had just tuned in to the new show.

Lee Min Jung had her share of criticism with her previous work in the KBS drama 'Big' with regards to her acting and embarrassingly-low TV ratings. She, however, seems to have turned things around in her new drama 'Everything About My Romance' on SBS. A passionate politician but a lovely single lady, Lee Min Jung crosses two wide apart realms of politics and romance with her great understanding and expression of the character in play.

Kim Tae Hee also has come back to the small screen with 'Jang Ok Jung' on SBS and is beginning to garner more respect for her acting rather than her gorgeous looks. She plays Jang Ok Jung who is a progressive-minded woman who struggles but fights against injustice in a stifling caste system.

The three actresses who have always been beautiful are now about to captivate the viewers with more than what meets the eye. It remains to be seen who will come out on top from this competition that not only bodes well for the actresses but also the public who will be the greatest beneficiaries of their maturing as professionals.
