Nine Muses Comeback, 'Sexy is the only way'

The sexy, seductive Nine Muses are back.

On May 8, Nine Muses held a showcase event to introduce their new album, Wild, and shared various behind-the-scene stories and their goals for the year.

Regarding the extremely competitive K-pop scene in this May-hem, Nine Muses revealed that 'sexy' is their key to success. "Without needing to reveal too much, we believe we can be sexy with various feminine fashion styles," they commented.

The 'sexy' theme of Nine Muses is clearly on a different trajectory than that of other girl groups. 4minute went with the strong and funky, Secret with cute and T-ARA N4 with upbeat. As the lone sexy group, their will inevitably compete against Lee Hyori.

"Lee Hyori is a legend to us so we are not looking to compete against her. Rather, we are hoping to create synergistic effects along with her," Lee Sam said, choosing her words carefully.

They also shared their thoughts about the R-rating of their music video. "I feel like we got rated-R just because we are Nine Muses. Maybe it was due to some adult toys shown in parts of the music video," they stated.

Nine Muses will stage their first comeback stage following their release of Wild on May 9.
