Moms Who Love K-Pop [KPOPSTARZ Mother's Day Tribute]

There is no doubt that K-Pop is spreading throughout the world like rapid-fire. Korean music videos are raking up YouTube hits at an alarming rate and idols are selling out international shows in minutes. And, as it would appear, the moms of the world are jumping on the bandwagon too.

In honor of Mother's Day we will look at some of the best videos from around the internet of our mothers and K-Pop.

This mom really knows how to shake her thing to K-Pop! Filmed by her loving daughter, this mother goes through some of the best known choreography in Korea dancing along to the Brown Eyed Girls, Super Junior, 2NE1, and more – even lip syncing along with the lyrics and smiling the entire time.

In the video you can hear her daughter's laughter, but it is clear that a love of K-Pop is definitely something that runs in the family.

This mom can barely contain herself while listening to SHINee in the car. She just has to move to “Ring Ding Dong,” the beat is just that infectious.

Pedestrians on the street are shown looking at her with confusion, and at one point her son actually reclines his seat to avoid the embarrassing glares from passersby. But it is all in good fun.

At the end of the video, mom literally pulls over the car to continue her dance on the street.

This mom might just be the biggest Wonder Girls fan on YouTube. Even before her daughter starts up the song “Like This” she is in the back already singing the lyrics and eager to start dancing.

As the song continues mom opts to stand up for better mobility while dancing instead of staying seated like her daughter.
The daughter even gives her mom a brief Korean language lesson after the dance is complete and as the pair smile and laugh, it is clear that K-Pop is something they really bond over.

And, how could we forget the K-Pop song moms all around the world know and love – Psy's “Gangnam Style.”

In this highly choreographed video, this mother and son duo show off their stuff in the living room. Mom has a serious expression on her face the entire time and her precision with the dance moves is unbeatable.

The son wrote about the video saying it was the first thing he had ever taught his 60-year-old mother, and even went as far as to say, “Thank you Psy for bringing me and my mom together through your awesome music.”

Has your mom jumped on the K-Pop bandwagon yet?
