K-pop Moms and Their Famous Kids

It's Mother's Day here in America and though it was already Mother's Day back in the motherland-pun intended-we thought we would take the time out to make a tribute to K-Pop idols and their beloved mothers! Where would we be in this world without moms, grandmas, aunts, sisters, etc.? The answer is nowhere and to thank all the moms out there for birthing some of our favorite K-pop stars, Happy Mother's Day from Kpopstarz!

Kpop Star Season 1 winner Park Ji Min, aka one of the most talented singers on the block, uploaded this photo on Mother's Day of her and her adorable mama! Ji Min's mommy was there every step of the way to support her daughter during the show's grueling competition and couldn't hold back her happiness when she was crowned the season 1 winner. 

Hallyu star BoA credits her mother for the reason why she's been so successful. The singer's mom released a book entitled, "The Golden Rule," which gives a detailed account on how she raised three successful children, the secrets behind doing so, and the trials and tribulations her family endured. BoA's mom has stated that she only wants her daughter to keep at her career if it makes her happy and hopes that one day she'll be a wife and a mother to a beautiful family. 

Teen Top's Neil uploaded this photo of him and his adorable mom on Twitter a month back. The two appeared on KBS2's Mamamia Show where idols and their mothers play games against other guests. Neil opened up about the hardships he expierenced as a young trainee and kid. 

Girl's Generation's beautiful leader, Taeyeon, uploaded a picture recently on her Instagram of her mother braiding her hair. The photo's caption read, "It's been a very, very long time since my mother did my hair." On Mother's Day, Taeyeon took her mom to get her nails done on Mother's Day and wrapped up their special day together with a gift from Chanel. Check out her pics on her Instagram! 

Back on 2011, 2NE1's cutie pie maknae, Minzy, uploaded a photo of her mom rocking a One Piece hat. I guess when you're the mother of a swagged out singer, you should be able to look the part, and Minzy's mom definitely looks like a hip-hop mama. 

Xiah Junsu's mother, who was a former Miss Korea contestant, is known to be quite close with her famous son. The JYJ member recently sent a flower pot to his mom wishing her success and happiness. His mother uploaded a photo on her Twitter account of her posing next to a cardboard cut-out of her son with the flower pot smiling.
