Eva Longoria Leaves Cannes Wardrobe Malfunction Behind; Graduates with Master’s Degree and Celebrates with Desperate Housewives Co-stars

After laughing off her wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet in Cannes, she celebrated with her Desperate Housewives co-stars and friends on Wednesday as she successfully graduated with a master's degree from California State University.

Elated about her big achievement, Eva Longoria tweeted, "Big day today!!! Very excited to graduate for my Master's degree in Chicano Studies! You're never too old or too busy to continue your education!"

Eva Longoria's Desperate Housewives co-star, Marcia Cross, also extended her congratulations on Twitter, saying, "Huge congratulations on your graduation today!!!! From Cannes to Cap and Gown. You are really something. Xoxo m."

Despite suffering a wardrobe malfunction that exposed the actress' lower half, Eva Longoria has left the incident behind her and walked in cap and gown for the graduation ceremony.

Bill Rancic, who was formerly partnering with Eva Longoria for the dating reality show Ready for Love, also wrote on Twitter, saying "Congrats Eva!"

Eva Longoria studied Chicano Studies for her Master's degree, which is a "field that advances a critical understanding of the Chicana/o and Latina/o experience in the United States."

According to California State University, courses in the Master's program "reflect a multidisciplinary approach to the understanding of Chicana/o and Latina/o histories, politics, culture, language and education."

Other than her Master's degree, Eva Longoria, 38, also graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in kinesiology.

Due to her successful academic achievements, many praised the Desperate Housewives actress, saying that she has both beauty and brains.

Jane Fonda attended Eva Longoria's charity event at the Cannes Film Festival and expressed her appreciation of Longoria through a blog post, saying "She does these things with such ease and grace."

It seems like Eva Longoria's hard work has paid off. Not only is she successful in her endeavors as an actress, she has also proved her intelligence by obtaining an advanced degree.
