Morgan Freeman Sleeping During TV Interview – Promoting ‘Now You See Me’

Morgan Freeman, the tenured actor, was caught dozing off while he is on air for a live TV interview to promote his latest movie, 'Now You See Me'.

Film Production can be a time-consuming and a very exhausting industry so it can be understandable for a tenured actor like Morgan Freeman to get really tired of lengthy interviews, doing the same kind over and over again for local news channels. Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine was speaking to an affiliate from Seattle's Fox. While Caine talks during the interview, Morgan Freeman had some shut-eye moment.

The two well-esteemed actors were set for the interview for the promotion of a new thriller film, 'Now You See Me', a story about bank robbers using magic during their heist with other starring artists, Mark Ruffalo and Isla Fisher. Their interview was airing live during the local news program of Seattle Fox channe with anchos Bill Wixey and Kaci Aitchison.

When the 75-year old Morgan Freeman was addresses directly during the interview, he willingly explained the movie. He even shares some advice for Wixey on how to be an effective narrator for the news anchor's daughter who grabbed the narrator role for her school play. Freeman adviced,  "Being a good reader. Not much more than that."

However, when Cain was the one speaking already, discussing the magic tricks used in the film, Morgan Freeman shut his eyes for a significant amount of time, and his head had bobbled low on his chest, seemingly indicating that he briefly fell asleep.

For some time during the interview, the news station was showing some scenes from the film but when then cut back already to show what's happening during the interview, the live airing was able to catch Morgan Freeman while resting his head on his chest, as he appeared to be napping. He then immediately shook his head and was already back in the interview as quickly as that.  

After the dozing off event during the interview, the reporters tweeted humorous posts on their Twitter account. "Morgan Freeman fell asleep on @KaciAitchison and I while interviewing him on @Q13FOX. I have that effect on people. So sorry to interrupt Morgan Freeman's sleep," Wixey posted.

Aitchinson , on the other hand, tweeted, "Morgan Freeman just fell asleep to the sound of our soothing voices"
