JYP File a Complaint Against Malicious Commenters of TWICE, Under Investigation, Further Charges will be Filed [Official]

JYP Entertainment has officially taken legal action against music fans for leaving malicious comments and postings of TWICE that defame the artist.

JYP said on Oct 23, released the following statement, "We have submitted a complaint to Gangdong Police Station in Seoul on the 2nd of this month, concluding that the malicious comments and postings contain defamation, sexual harassment, and personal attacks are very serious towards TWICE. We currently have eight complaints on file that are currently under investigation. Additional criminal charges will be filed for similar cases."

JYP emphasized further that as the management, they will firmly take all possible legal action to protect their artists' privacy and mental health.

JYP will continue to monitor and take severe legal action against malicious slander on behalf of TWICE as well as all JYP Entertainment artists. "We will take stern measures for such actions without settlement or leniency," the statement concludes.
