Super Junior Members Shares Plans About New Album And More!

Junior Super-K.R.Y. Have produced their highly anticipated comeback!

At 6 p.m. on June 8. KST, the trio published the "When We Were Us" mini-album together with a music video for much the same-name opening track.

Super Junior-K.R.Y. in a question and answer session to Herald Pop. He managed to talk about publishing a Korean album, what's in store for their forthcoming promotional activities, and much more.

When questioned how the members felt going back to the Korean music community after nearly 15 years since the group was formed, Yesung replied, "This is an album that we have been waiting for just as much as our supporters, so I'm really grateful and pleased."

Ryeowook continued, "Because I've been waiting for Super Junior-K.R.Y 's album for a long period of time just like our fans, the album is more important to me. I like even more and I hope it gets plenty of support from a large number of people."

Kyuhyun also made a comment saying, "I'm excited to think this album would become a wonderful gift, as our united supporters have long been looking forward to it."

The participants then mentioned their "When We Were Us" soundtrack. Ryeowook replied, "It's a song with a very wonderful melody. I believe it might serve as an OST drama, too."

Kyuhyun continued, "Whatever joy or sorrow it may be, I think every memory becomes a wonderful one after passing the time. If you listen to the album when you're thinking about pleasant memories, you can experience the feeling of the album a little better."

The participants then each picked a color for their group of units. Yesung agreed to orange, stating, "Ryeowook 's vocal color looks like a spring-pink. Kyuhyun's are as brown as autumn and mine is as white as snow. If you mix the pink Ryeowook, the brown Kyuhyun and my white one, I think that's going to be an orange hue."

But on the other side, Ryeowook selected blue, contrasting it to the color sapphire blue of the band Super Junior. He said, "I don't think the color changes even though it's a unit party, because even though it's the three of us, it would be just as enjoyable as when we're with the whole party and E.L.Fs (the fandom name of Super Junior) still loves us all the time."

Kyuhyun chose marine and said, "Super Junior-K.R.Y. Its color is one level deeper and darker than the pearl sapphire blue of Super Junior."

Yesung and Ryeowook then revealed what parts of their album they participated in making. Yesung said, "I typically suggest visual-aspect concepts. I think many of my recommendations about the design of the album jacket and our clothing were expressed."

Ryeowook decided to add, "The tracks on our album were all really nice that it was difficult to decide on an opening track. I really really like our existing opening track 'When We Were Us,' so I'd like to say that to some extent my personal view has been assembled to choose the opening track. Again, we all talked about the current objective for the vocals as well as how the three of us should create harmony."

Ryeowook then disclosed how the other members of the Super Junior responded to the latest album for the group. He said, "Listening to the song the members said it was truly wonderful! They are all honest and if it's not nice you can tell them by their expressions, but they genuinely supported us, saying the song was fine."
