Netizens Suspect Girls' Generation Yuri Had a Nose Job Due to Recent Photos + Furious Fans Fire Back

On June 12, the member of the iconic K-pop girl group Girls' Generation Yuri captured fans and netizens' attention due to her unconventional sexy selfies, with a caption, "This is pretty."

As soon as she uploaded the photos on her Instagram account, K-pop enthusiasts and netizens flocked over her comment section, giving her a lot of praise due to her stunning beauty. People are also agreeing with her caption as her good looks is truly unmatched.

In her photos, Yuri showcased her flawless skin, round eyes, perfect pair of eyebrows, and red lipstick complementing her off-shoulder outfit and messy yet sexy hairstyle. In general, the K-pop idol flaunts her enchantress self, and everything about her physical appearance is perfect!

Her fans and followers then acknowledge her beauty by leaving positive comments and feedbacks about her visuals, not to mention her good personality as well. Fans also shared her photos in various social media accounts, gathering good messages about Yuri as well. However, on some online Korean community sites, K-netizens conveyed their negative comments about Yuri, speculating that she had a nose job.

According to these Knetz, upon seeing the photos, they can't even recognize her at first. In addition to this, some pointed out her nose, saying, "I can't tell who she is anymore, she fixed [it] too much." "Her nose looks awkward." 

Meanwhile, fans and supporters of the idol who found out about the hate and criticisms Yuri are receiving, are angered by the issue. Due to these, Sones, the fandom of the female K-pop group, immediately fires back to the K-netizens, sending photos and videos proving that she doesn't undergo any sort of plastic surgery.

In fact, in 2010, Yuri was chosen as the K-pop female idol with the "best nose," determined through a survey conducted by beauty professionals. In addition to this, K-netizens also praise Yuri for her perfect side profile and nose, which is admired by Koreans. Thus, Sones are irked that K-Netz are pulling Yuri down when they are fond of her a lot back in the days.

This is not only what causing the annoyance of fans and supporters of the female idol, but in the same post as well, haters and bashers also keep on mentioning Yuri's brother, which is a sensitive topic for the idol. In context, the idol's brother, Kwon Hyuk Jun, was involved in a sexual assault case, leading him to be sentenced for ten years in 2019.

Fans are commenting that her brother's matter is entirely unrelated to Yuri's photos; that's why it shouldn't be brought up. In addition to this, the K-pop icon's supporters, particularly Sones, debunk the claims that Yuri had a nose job as the speculations are completely groundless and hoax.
