BTS has recently celebrated 7th anniversary as a group. On June 14, Sunday, the boys of BTS held an online live performance called "Bang Bang Con: The Live."

On this day, the members celebrated their anniversary day late, since their actual anniversary was on June 13. During their final comments, BTS's eldest member Jin shocked fans with his statement. He said, "It's our 7th anniversary. Originally, our contracts were supposed to end yesterday." This means that if they had renewed their contracts with their label, they could have possibly disbanded.

In October 2018, BTS had announced that they would renew their contracts with Big Hit Entertainment. Many people were both suprised and not - surprised because it was rare for a group to last so long with all the members deciding to stay together in the same company, and not surprising because their fame was only rising with no signs of slowing down, and they had just started expanding to America.

During the MAMA awards ceremony in 2019, Jin had revealed during their winning speech for "Artist of the Year" that they were going though a hard time in early 2018 and had thoughts of disbanding despite the success.

However, they made sure that didn't happen and overcame their hardships together, in the end deciding to renew their contracts. Many fans were surprised by his statement, as there had been no indication that they were having a hard time.

Some have assumed that it was internal and they chose not to let fans know as not to worry them. ARMYs are glad they overcame their conflicts and have come out as a stronger BTS, with bonds like brothers,

"Because we found a good agency, we are thankful to be able to stay together with our members for a longer time," Jin added. All seven members came together and hugged, leaving everyone touched by the interaction and their brotherhood. Jin ended his comment by saying he was happy to have spent the night with ARMYS, and reminded everyone that every day is precious so they must spend it well.

Netizens were touched by the speech Jin gave. One netizen showed how they emphatize with Jin and the other members of BTS, saying, "This is pressure we'll never feel. They have decided to rely on each other and make it through. [...]. They've been walking on paths that no other Korean singer has ever walked. It's like you're going with a mission to carve out and pave the way for other Korean singers." Other netizens praised Jin for how he speaks, being honest yet thoughtful in his words.

In June 13, 2013, BTS debuted with their debut single album "2 Cool 3 Skool", the first from their school trilogy series. They debuted with the track "No More Dream", which charted a number 124 in South Korea. The song fell of the charts quick. Two years later, BTS won their first number one music show win on SBS MTV's "The Show" with "I NEED U". Since then, the group has been rocking the charts in both the East and the West, performing on stages like the Grammys and the American Music Awards (AMAs).

Happy 7th anniversary, BTS!
