Lee Seung & Ha Ji Won To Co-Star In New Drama

Fans should be prepared to see Lee Seung Gi and Ha Ji Won starring in the new upcoming drama “The King.” This is significant because earlier in the month the lead role was still up in the air. There were other possibilities for the male lead such as Jo In Sung and Cha Seung Won, and they were thought to be confirmed at one point, but this turned out to just be rumors. Lee Seung Gi was also thought to be confirmed at one point, but this was never confirmed, just rumors.

What this all means is we finally have out two leads for the drama “The King” so fans can finally exhale.

Kim Jong Hak Production is set to produce the drama. He made a statement to the fans about the drama.

“Ha Ji Won and lee Seung Gi have given final confirmation to appear on the drama. We have gotten a dream line up that could not be better.”

“The King” will be like no other drama previously done. The setting will be a fantasy theme of Korea with a “Constitutional Monarchy.” The plot thickens in the drama when the South Korean prince, played by Lee Seung Gi, falls in love with a North Korean special ops, which will be played by Ha Ji Won.
