Khayti Shah Claims Brain Damage After Billboard Music Awards Incident, Miguel May Face Lawsuit [VIDEO]

Khayti Shah, the girl who got her head caught right between Miguels legs after he attempted a leg kick in the air during his Billboard Music Awards performance, is now suffering brain damage, according to her lawyer Vip Bhola.

As it was previously reported, Miguel thought he could fly across the stage and plowed into the top of Shah's head.

"Some of the difficulties she's experiencing are cognitive in nature and lead to suspicion of a neurological head injury," said Bhola.

The lawyer added that in response to the accident, Billboard Music Award staff only provided Shah with an ice pack designed to nurse a bruised elbow when they really should have insisted she be rushed to the hospital.

Currently, the lawyer and his client are waiting for the results of a neurology test. After that, they will decide on whether to go further with a lawsuit.

Bhola is open to a settlement, but has yet to hear from Miguel's representation.

In the video above, Shah is captured escaping from sight after recieving the blacklash of Miguel's air kick. The singer went on with the show while embracing a nearby blonde woman.

Later, Miguel conducted an interview backstage with Shah while she held an ice pack on her elbow. Miguel coined her his "new friend." Shah looked like she was all smiles at the time. See for yourself below.
