Kim Kardashian And Kris Humphries Finalize Divorce, Just In Time For Kim’s Due Date Next Month

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have finalized their divorce, after 72 days of marriage. This must put Kim's mind at ease - she's expecting her first child with Kanye West, with a due date in July.

E! News reported they obtained a copy of the former couple's final divorce judgment, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Kardashian, 32, and Humphries, 28, reached a settlement in April to avoid a trial. The terms of the settlement were not made public. According to People, the couple had previously signed a prenuptial agreement.

Kardashian originally filed for separation in October 2011.

Humphries, an NBA player, was initially looking for an annulment of the marriage, accusing Kim of fraud. He said their elaborate and expensive wedding was a sham staged to get ratings and more publicity on Kim's show, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." The episode, which aired on August 20, 2011, was a two-part special titled "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event," CNN reports.

During the premiere of this season's "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," Kim expressed her unhappiness about having her child if she was still legally married to Humphries. Looks like the reality star got her wish.

Kim also reveals the sex of her baby in the episode: she and Kanye are expecting a girl next month. In the same episode, she told her mother Kris Jenner that she plans on eating her placenta after giving birth.

"I really want to do it," Kim said.

Her mother gave her a disgusted look in response.
