Amanda Bynes Rejects Playboy Job Offer: Troubled Star Would Rather Spend Time Recording New Album

Amanda Bynes rejected a full-time job offer from Playboy on Tuesday, revealing that she wants to spend time focusing on recording a new album, TMZ reported.

Playboy radio tweeted Amanda Bynes saying "@AmandaBynes Seriously, Amanda - we want you to co-host our afternoon show for a day. Please DM your info," on Monday.

"We should give Amanda a full two hours Bynedamonium marathon!" said Playboy radio host Bob Guiney, following the initial job offer.

On Tuesday, TMZ reported that Playboy wants to hire Amanda Bynes for a full-time spot, not just a one-time basis.

Amanda Bynes' Playboy gig would include her own daily, hour-long radio show where she would talk about personal life, career and other hot topics.

But the troubled star rejected the Playboy job offer because she wants to record a new album, according to TMZ.

"I want to [do the show]. But I can't because I'm recording an album!" she told TMZ. "I'll go on their show for an interview when I'm promoting my album."

Playboy did not release a statement or comment on Amanda Bynes' job offer rejection.

While the retired movie actress and former Nickelodeon star gave up a gig that would bring her millions of viewers, Amanda Bynes has been the center of entertainment attention and has garnered numerous headlines about her latest Twitter rants, legal issues and personal life.

She is currently in a legal battle with the NYPD over her arrest last month, where she was reportedly smoking marijuana in her apartment lobby and then threw a bong outside of her window.
