ENHYPEN Becomes First K-Pop Artist to Have All Albums Certified by RIAJ
On June 9, the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) revealed the latest batch of artists who received official certifications.
According to the RIAJ, ENHYPEN was given their first-ever official double platinum certification for their second Jaanese single album, "DIMENSION: SENKOU."
Since its release back on May 3 of this year, ENHYPEN's latest album has since then shipped over 500,000 units until today.
In addition to "DIMENSION: SENKOU," ENHYPEN also received a gold certification in Japan for their Korean debut mini album "BORDER: DAY ONE," which was originally released back on November 30, 2020, and has more than 100,000 units since its release.
This also means that "BORDER: DAY ONE" has become the only Korean debut album to receive a certification by the RIAJ in Japan, setting a new feat for the Korean boy group.
With the two new additions to their certifications in Japan, ENHYPEN also sets a new record, becoming the first and only K-Pop artist to have all of their released albums be officially certified by the RIAJ since their debut.
