A new dance trend called "(Jang) Wonyoung's Little Dance" has become very popular on various SNS, especially on TikTok.

The dance went viral among foreign fans and TikTokers after seeing the original clip which came from the 2022 MAMA Awards. 

In particular, during the awards ceremony held on November 29 in Osaka, Japan, IVE, along with fellow top 4th-gen girl groups LE SSERAFIM, Kep1er, NewJeans and NMIXX, had a special stage.

The viral scene then happened not when she was performing but when she was on standby at the back. Jamming to the rhythm of NewJeans' Hype Boy,' Jang Wonyoung raised both of her arms slightly towards her shoulders and shook her body left and right.

Not only the idol's steps were lovely, but she also showed her cute facial expression, making everyone who watched the clip fall in love with her charm.

Upon re-examining various past award ceremonies and year-end festivals she attended including the KBS 2022 Gayo Daechukje on December 16, Wonyoung's dance habit was easily found in those clips.

Internet users around the world have started posting various relay videos, naming the idol's dance habit as, "Wonyoung little dance."

On TikTok, it opened a new dance trend among foreigners using the sound source, "Left & Right" by Gael Stone. TikTok users described the dance as, "addicting," "satisfying" and "can end fan wars."

Some also said that since the little dance fits any 8-beat song, these are perfect for club dancing. Anyone can actually do the dance since the movements were not complicated, and the only key points were using your own charm!

When the fact was revealed, Internet users showed various reactions, saying:

• "It's amazing to see that it's popular because she's just a little behind."
• "Jang Wonyoung's popularity destroys a barrier."
•  "Her body ratio is like a mannequin."
• "It must be the most popular trend."
•  "At this rate, even her habit of eating a meal will become popular later."
