Recently, NewJeans Hyein's pre-debut life has been earning attention.
In online communities and social media platforms, a video of the youngest NewJeans member is being shared, showing the idol's status before her debut.
In particular, the video is a cover dance clip uploaded by the YouTube channel Pocket TV in January 2021, where pre-debut Hyein flaunts her rendition of Oh My Girl YooA's "Bon Voyage."

As of writing, the video has amassed about 700k views, with people admiring Hyein's top visuals.
During the performance, then pre-debut star mesmerizes with her small face, slender arms, tall height, on top of her pure beauty.
Her light makeup and wavy hair also gives off a fairy-like image, matching the song's concept.
Hyein is lauded for her incredible dance skills that non-fans wouldn't realize they are watching a performance of a teen who hasn't debuted. Her movements are smooth and elegant, and the performance becomes even more impactful with her facial expressions.
But what caught the attention of fans most was the time the video was uploaded. Although it was only uploaded 2 years ago, people are still shocked because Hyein was only an elementary student when it was filmed.
Despite being young, she showed a performance enough to be praised for covering YooA's song excellently, one of the best dancers among idol soloists.

Eventually, Hyein left the show and proudly joined as the maknae of NewJeans, a girl group launched by HYBE Labels subsidiary, ADOR.
Hyein, who was born in 2008, was only 14 years old when she debuted.
Following their debut with hit tracks "Hype Boy" and "Attention" in August this year, the team continues to gain huge popularity.
NewsJeans has been the longest K-pop idol to debut this year to secure position on the Billboard charts "Global (excluding the United States)" and "Global 200."
Even their pre-released song, "Ditto," is showing its power to be on the U.S. Billboard chart.
