MAMA Awards 2023 (Day 2): Lineup, Performances, Highlights & More
MAMA AWARDS 2023 successfully wrapped up its two-day ceremony from Nov. 28 to 29!
This year, the event was held at Tokyo Dome in Japan, which is known to be the "Holy Land of Japanese Performances."
While former I.O.I-turned-soloist Jeon Somi opened the ceremony as its MC, the event concluded with actor Park Bo Gum as the host of MAMA's "Chapter 2."
The actor was joined by an exciting artist lineup — SEVENTEEN, ATEEZ, (G)I-DLE, TREASURE, LE SSERAFIM, NiziU, BOYNEXTDOOR, RIIZE, ZEROBASEONE, and EL7Z UP.
Dancer Monika also heated up the stage with an impressive performance.
On Day 1, the artists' fandom power was seen, giving awards, such as the bonsang "Worldwide Fans' Choice" based on fandom votes.
On Day 2, artists proved their power through music and album data, especially those who won awards for "Artist of the Year," "Song of the Year," and "Album of the Year."
During the event, collaborations were also shown, such as the "SUPER STAGE," participated by (G)I-DLE Minnie, LE SSERAFIM Huh Yunjin, Kep1er Xiaoting, Bada Lee, and Monika. They truly set the stage on fire with their "reinterpretation of goddesses" performance.
