8 Idols Who Sued Sojang Revealed: 'Victim Is From SM Entertainment'

Following Jang Wonyoung's case, the other victims who filed a lawsuit against the infamous Youtuber Sojang were revealed in a summary of charges.

Earlier, IVE Jang Wonyoung under the supervision of Starship Entertainment, hired lawyers abroad to determine the identity behind the notorious YouTuber Sojang, also known for her channel "Taldeok Camp."

She became infamous for spreading fake and malicious contents about K-pop idols on the social media platform, earning millions of revenue in return. In the process, she hurt a lot of celebrities and even damaged their image and reputation.

While a lot of idols tried to sue her, they weren't able to track her down due to her anonymous identity, but thanks to Wonyoung and her team they were able to do it.

Following retrieving her information then, they went on with the lawsuit and in May, she was finally indicted on charges of violating the Information Communications Network Act (hereinafter defamation).

In an online community, the 8 idols who also sued Sojang were revealed, which were also strictly prosecuted.
