Brad Pitt's summer thriller film "World War Z" is now showing in the U.S. but you, too, can experience and survive from the zombie pandemic by playing the "World War Z" game app available for Android and iOS devices.

The "World War Z" release date in the US is today, June 21. This means that zombie fans and the supporters of A-list actor Brad Pitt are all set to combine their forces to watch this highly-anticipated apocalyptic horror film and make it a huge blockbuster hit. In addition to supporting the film, fans can check out the "World War Z" game app available both for Android and iOS platforms.

As part of the promotion and bonus zombie entertainment for the fans, Paramount Digital Entertainment released a "World War Z" game app for Android devices as well as for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The action-packed "World War Z" game app is a graphically-rich game with advanced features. There is only one goal - to survive against the nasty army of flesh eating zombies.

The "World War Z" game app for Android and iOS devices features 28 levels of intense battles, frightening atmospheres, engaging puzzles and upgradable weapons and armor. The app, packed with action and zombie hordes, also has an unlimited challenge mode, daring its players to survive from the zombie pandemic.

"World War Z" is directed by Marc Foster. It stars Brad Pitt as Gerry Lane. Brad Pitt's character is a retired UN employee who needs to travel the world to find a way to end the zombie pandemic. The screenplay is based on the 2006 novel of the same title. The movie had already premiered in London on June 2 and its first showing day in the U.S. is today, June 21. The "World War Z" movie, distributed by Paramount Pictures, is going to be released in the U.S. both in 2D and Real D 3D.
