SEVENTEEN Mingyu's Fans' Strike Back with Proof Debunking the Idol's False Clubbing Accusation

In a recent controversy, SEVENTEEN member Mingyu found himself at the center of a social media storm after allegations surfaced accusing him of partying at a club with multiple women.

The claims, circulating on July 29, 2024, went viral with over 2.1 million views.

The accusations stemmed from screenshots of a conversation between a club manager and an unnamed acquaintance, suggesting Mingyu had been spotted at the venue requesting female company.

Despite the intense scrutiny, SEVENTEEN's dedicated fanbase moved swiftly to disprove the allegations.

The fans' investigation revealed that Mingyu had a packed schedule on July 28, including engaging with fans on Weverse and attending a gym session, making it improbable for him to have been at the club as claimed.

Additionally, a closer examination of the video evidence presented by the accusers raised doubts about the authenticity of the claims. SOURCE

Fans noted that the footage did not clearly show whether the individual in question was indeed Mingyu.

The credibility of the accuser's account has also come under fire.

Critics pointed out that the account responsible for the accusations had previously focused on negative stories related to Mingyu, including a controversial Itaewon incident from the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This history suggests a potential agenda behind the recent claims.

In response to the backlash, the account in question has since been set to private.

Fans have accused it of deliberately spreading misinformation and creating unnecessary drama around SEVENTEEN.

HERE ARE MORE OF THE FANS' REACTIONS:

also from what I read, they mostly talk bad about him even though all he does is chilling at a club they are so rude

i honestly don't care if he goes to the club but at least don't spread misinformation because who tf is this guy???? this is definitely not mingyu

"People throw rocks at things that shine." Mingyu be shining so bright in his field, people who are so bored with their life do this to him. Back off. Throw your stones in your own backyard.

Carats, lets protect Mingyu properly this time. The last time they accuse him of a bully, general public believed the lies & some carats even left. Mingyu suffered alone and when he came back after clearing off ,looking so thin & pale even more than jeonghan, it broke my heart.

From the way they message each other, they're obviously haters, most of the words are their own theories of he might be like that or do like that..they didn't see him do it. Its better to confirm the reality first than spread this.

The swift rebuttal from Mingyu's supporters highlights the band's strong and vigilant fan community, committed to defending its members against false accusations.
