Twitch TV is Currently Down; Microsoft’s New Partner Lets Gamers Watch Live Streaming of GamePlay From Xbox 360 And Xbox One

Twitch TV, a live video streaming platform concentrated on video games is currently down.

The website of Twitch TV, the new partner of Microsoft Xbox 360 and Xbox One for video streaming of games is down at the moment. Engadget reported that once the website is restored, the users will have to reset their password and streaming keys. The official blog site of Twitch TV is blaming the issue on a caching problem with its web CDN Partner. However, this has caused many users to be worried about the site having been hacked since before the shutdown; there are users who found themselves viewing accounts that belonged to other members.

But Twitch TV clarified that it is not the case. Twitch TV made official updates regarding their down website through posting information to Twitter. The earlier tweet from @TwitchTV says, "FYI: No one is actually logged in as the wrong user, it's simply a display bug, changes can't be made to accounts, ect. Don't panic! :)"

2 hours later, Twitch Support (@TwitchTVSupport also posted a tweet on the micr0blogging site that reads, "Meantime, we're updating the maintenance page images and content. We weren't hacked. We never updated that page from when we were on JTV."

During the E3 2013 event, Microsoft announced that the gamers would now be able to stream live gameplay from Xbox One consoles with just one simple command, provided by Twitch TV. The video platform, Twitch TV started two years ago, and it now has 36 million unique monthly visitors who want to watch live streaming of game plays. Thousands of users are broadcasting their video games, ranging from the popular contemporary modern game titles up to the classic ones.
