Apology Videos Fail To Save Paula Deen From Being Fired [VIDEO]: Racist Food Network Star Puts $17 Million Net Worth In Jeopardy

Since her scandal involving a lawsuit and accusations of racist behavior, Paula Deen has been fired from the Food Network despite a series of apology videos made as a last-ditch effort to win back fans.

"I want to apologize to everybody for the wrong I have done. I want to learn and grow from this," she said in the 45-second Youtube video.

"Inappropriate, hurtful language is totally, totally unacceptable."

And her third...

According to FOX News, Paula and her brother Bubba Hiers are being sued by a former manager of her Oyster House restaurant in Georgia, Lisa Jackson, for $1.2 million. Jackson accused Deen of using the N-word and Hiers of sexually harassing her.

When asked if Deen has ever used the N-word, she promptly replied, "Yes, of course."

"It's just what they are, they're jokes...most jokes are about Jewish people, rednecks, black folks...I can't determine what offends another person."

According to New York Daily News, the 66-year-old Deen's net worth is somewhere around $17 million thanks to her television work, cookbooks, endorsements, and media appearances.

When it came time for the Food Network to renew her contract, which is up at the end of the month, the answer has been a firm no. However, the network has stated that the shows with her sons, Bobby and Jamie, would not be affected.
