Jennie Debuts Short Hair for Harper's Bazaar — But K-Netz Are Disappointed
BLACKPINK Jennie created a frenzy after showing off her new bob hair for the first time since her debut. However, some weren't impressed.
On Sept. 19th, the fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar US unveiled Jennie's pictorial shots, who will grace its October issue as a cover star.
In the photos, the global superstar pulled off various looks from luxury brands, starting from a bodysuit that boasted her slim figure, to a corset dress and oversized fur hats, that proved her status as a world-class fashion icon.
But what caught her attention the most was her hairstyle, debuting short hair which was long anticipated by K-pop and beauty enthusiasts.
Since her debut in 2016, Jennie has always worn long locks and the shortest one was when she cut it shoulder-length. This time, she finally showcased a bob hair, which gave her a sensual charm on top of wearing a mesh bodysuit, leather bra, and pants.
Following the photo shoot, Jennie garnered admiration from BLINKs and Rubies, praising how she always pushes beyond fashion norms and gives perfect results every time.

On the flip side, there are unimpressed K-Netz who think her short hair failed to serve and left comments such as:
- "Now, I can really understand why she insists on having long hair most of the time."
- "You just looked like an old lady, short hair is a no-no."
- "Put on some clothes, it will make it so much better."
- "What's with the short hair?"
- "This is a total mess. Jennie, don't go for the sexy concept. It doesn't suit you. She looks like an elementary school student wearing sexy clothes."
- "It doesn't suit you at all. You're like an ajumma."
- "The proportions are really important if you're having short hair."
