Seunghan's abrupt departure from RIIZE has shocked the BRIIZE community and other K-pop fandoms. Amid the increasing outrage, fans have begun to lay out their theories and speculations regarding the idol's exit from the group.

Earlier on October 11, SM's management label Wizard Production shared that Seunghan will finally return to the group after a long hiatus. This was followed by Seunghan's handwritten letter, which addressed his past controversy and shared his resolve to improve himself.

However, the idol's return led to divided reactions, with many fans voicing out their excitement, while OT6 BRIIZEs protested against the decision.

On October 13, Wizard Production released a statement announcing Seunghan's departure from RIIZE. The announcement instantly angered the K-pop community. Fandoms expressed their disdain and started a boycott of SM, given how it dealt with Seunghan's situation.

Amid the ongoing heat, many theories have erupted on social media regarding his exit. Some wondered if Seunghan was being set up by someone inside the industry, while highlighting that he, alongside former ILLIT member Youngseo and former LE SSERAFIM member Garam were Source Music trainees.

They also theorized that Min Hee Jin was involved in Seunghan's departure.

On the other hand, some netizens argued that the rumors were way off and unlikely to happen.
