One Direction’s Niall Horan Denies Being Drunk On Stage With Louis Tomlinson After Swigging From A Bottle [VIDEO]

Niall Horan from One Direction took to Twitter to deny rumors that he and Louis Tomlinson were drunk and drinking on stage in Kentucky during their U.S. tour.

Fans spotted the pair swigging from a water bottle on stage, then pulling faces and wincing as if taking shots of alcohol, SFGate.com reports. Rumors sparked that Niall and Louis sneaked vodka into the bottle.

Horan is 19 years old and too young to purchase alcohol legally in America. He tweeted to his fans to let them know that they were not drinking alcohol during their show.

In a series of posts, Niall tweets: "I'm clearing this one up now! This bull about us being drunk on stage! No way is that true! Ever ever! Who is making this s--- up?... We give our best on stage every night! And for 1 person to start a rumor! Just messes it all up."

After apparently watching the video that sparked the rumors, Niall responded once more on Twitter: "Ah now I get why people are saying it ! Hahah! Me and (Louis Tomlinson) do that every night! Pretend there is something in the water bottles."

The band was on stage at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville when a fan filmed a close-up video of Louis and Niall. One Direction are currently on the American leg of their Take Me Home tour.

In other news, One Direction was featured in the "Skype Scavenger Hunt" on Thursday's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," The Huffington Post reports. The boys were separated into two teams, with Niall and Louis on one, and Harry, Liam, and Zayn on the other. They were put in different dressing rooms and given challenges by the comedian. Highlights included Harry taking off his pants and showing his underwear to the world, no doubt to the hysteria of many watching female fans.
