Catch Archie of Monsters University app is generally a running game, similar to the popular title from Imangi Studios, the Temple Run. The mission of the game is to catch the pig. Player should be cautious because there obstacles that will impede the race such as bike racks, chalkboards and more. Once the Scare Pig was caught, the player of Monsters University app needs to tap it to jump on him and then balance on swipe left and right strategically for balance. Player will lose the Scare Pig  once he or she fall off. And reminder for the players, the longer your run, the faster and the difficult the race path will be, thus, full concentration during the game is really necessary.

The second mini game from the Monsters University app is the Toxicity Challenge, in which the player's goal is to dodge the bright pink "stinging glow urchins" scattered along the screen and falling from the sky. The game will be over if Mike (the player's character) gets hit by the urchins three times.
