iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 Release Date: Rumored Launch Of New Devices To Coincide With Apple iOS 7 Release, Budget Phone Option Could Be Called iPhone Light

Apple’s release of the much rumored iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 will coincide with the “available for download” date of the iOS 7. The newest operating system for the iPhone, iPad and iPad Mini was the most discussed revelation at Apple’s recently concluded WWDC.

This would be the first time Apple will be releasing two new iPhones in one year, if the rumors are true. According to the International Business Times, the true successor to the iPhone 5 called the iPhone 5S, will be released this year. The highly talked about budget phone in the iPhone product line, which could either be called iPhone 6 or iPhone Light, will possibly be launched as well.

The Business Times said that it is certain that Apple will release at least one new iPhone model this year. The primary question, according to the blog site covering the iPhone news, is not what but when.

In keeping with company tradition, the Cupertino tech giant does not comment on upcoming product releases. But numerous rumors and leaks, plus the timeline given for the iOS 7 release date has provided many speculators hints that the new iPhone models will be launched the same time iOS 7 is made available.

The redesigned operating system will be available for the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPhone 5.

The Business Times, based on their observation and notes on Apple’s announcement that the iOS 7 will be released this fall, indicate that the iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 release date will be around mid-September.

When Apple unveiled the iOS 7 in its flat, non-skeumorphic form, the operating system displays the familiar features of the software aligned to the new design vision of Apple exec Jonathan Ive.

It is important to note that at the end of the presentation, Apple said that it will be released this “fall,” without providing a specific month or date.

Apple’s artistic and technical ability has been tried and tested, particularly in the company’s ability to meet deadlines.

Reports have surfaced that despite a number of reported issues with the iOS 7 before its unveiling, the Apple team was still able to “ship” iOS 7 so it could be revealed and demonstrated at the WWDC 2013.

The full release date for the iOS 7 has been in the Apple timetable for quite sometime. Hypothetically, the Business Times explains, that Apple HQ may have a whiteboard for the full release date of the iOS 7 with an X on Monday, June 10, for the iOS 7 unveiling.

Based on previous release schedules of Apple for the iOS, the Business Times and other sources predict that Apple will release the iOS 7 on September 18, Wednesday.

In 2012, Apple unveiled iOS 6 on June 11, and it released iOS 6 on Wednesday, Sept. 19 – which the Business Times noted is exactly 100 days after it unveiling. Two days after Apple released the iOS 6, Apple announced its newest iPhone, the iPhone 5.

By seeing this standard practice, which has been put in place by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, it is expected that the new iPhones will be released after the iOS 7 is launched. And if last year is any indication, the launches will be around September as well.
