WWE 2K14 Trailer ‘Become Immortal’ Launches; 2K Sports Announces Release Date And Cover Art Contest [VIDEO]
2K Sports announced WWE 2K14 release date which will be on October 29. Cover art contest and the WWE 2K14 trailer were launched as well.
Take-Two recently released the WWE 2K14 trailer with the title, "Become Immortal", which features the current World Wrestling Entertainment Superstars and favorite WW Legends. Furthermore, the game's publisher, Take-Two also confirmed a WWE 2K14 release date which is set on October 29 of this year. The publisher made the announcements which included the WWE 2K14 release date during their latest financial results call.

According to CVG, Take-Two also promised during the announcement of the WWE 2K14 release date that they would deliver "developer Yuke's 'signature gameplay' combined with '2K's commitment to authenticity'". Beginning on WWE 2K14's release date on October 29, the game will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
CVG also reported that Take-Two was able to acquire the rights to the video game license for WWE after "the demise of THQ earlier this year, when it inked a five-year deal with WWE."
Just Push Start reported that a few months ago, it was announced that The Rock will be the cover star for the WWE 2K14 game. But recently, 2K Games have distributed press release to announce an official cover art making contest for WWE fans to design their own cover for the game.
Those fans who will decide to join should create their original covers for WWE 2K14 which features any WWE Superstar or Diva. The winning design will be included with retail copies of the game and it will also used in the promotion of the game, alongside The Rock's cover. The WWE 2K14 cover art contest is open until July 23 and a similar competition is planned in Europe as well.
