T-ara's Qri Declines Japanese Film Role

T-ara member Qri has declined an offer to star in a Japanese television drama. T-ara made the decision today to turn down a role in Japan’s Fuji TV drama “Rhythm and Police”.

“Rhythm and Police” is a Japanese film for the drama that will be broadcasted on television beginning in September. Although originally an 11 episode television series, it has spawned into television specials and four full-length theatrical movies.

Qri was the producers’ first option, as they were looking for an attractive foreigner who was skilled in Japanese. Qri was offered the big role immediately but due her busy schedule and of being over worked, she declined.

The role was then offered to Korean actress, Lee Hae In. Lee Hae In rose to fame in TvN’s “Roller-Coaster”. Along with the Japanese film role, she will be debuting in a girl group with seven members.
