Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie Release Rumors: Nexus 5, Moto X, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 May Debut With Upcoming Mobile OS From Google

Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie release rumors suggest that a number of current and forthcoming smart phone models may get Google's OS update.

Older mobile devices may be updated with Google's upcoming operating system, according to speculation regarding the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie release. Reportedly, the OS may be available to Google's Nexus 4, 7 and 10, as well as Samsung's products like Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S3.

Aside from these currently available smartphone and tablet devices, Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie release rumors also identified which of the imminent handset devices will launch featuring the newest version of Android OS. According to SidhTech, mobile devices that are at top of the list are the Moto X, Google Nexus 5 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

International Business Times reported leaked specs of Google's new Moto X that include pre-installed Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. Moto X is also rumored for a summer release, and some experts think that that it will replace the Google Nexus 5, especially since LG announced that it will not pursue the Nexus 5. But, there are claims that Google Nexus 5 may arrive in November and it will have the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, as well.

SidTech reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will have its official unveiling at the IFA Expo event on September 6-11. Rumors suggest that the 'phablet' from Samsung may come out of the box with a pre-installed Google OS, which may either be the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update or Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.
