Kate Middleton’s Baby Bump, Due Date Earlier? Sources Reveal Duchess Of Cambridge May Give Birth July 3, Ten Days Earlier Than Announced

Kate Middleton and Prince William's baby may have a due date ten days earlier than announced to the public.

The Mirror reports that sources have claimed Buckingham Palace may be keeping the real due date of the royal birth a secret, in order to misguide the media and protect Middleton's privacy.

The official due date is July 13, but Kate missed the wedding of her friends Thomas van Straubenzee and Lady Melissa Percy on the weekend and opted to stay close to the Lindo Wing at St Mary's, in Paddington, where Princess Diana gave birth to both William and Harry. According to Us Weekly, Kate plans to give a natural birth.

Kate and Will may be following in the footsteps of Princess Diana, who in 1982 fooled the public by saying William was due on July 1, but in fact he was born 10 days earlier.

If Kate and Will are taking a page out of Princess Di's book, then the real due date would be July 3.

The baby will become third in line to the British throne.

A source told Us Weekly that Kate is "really enjoying her final weeks of pregnancy."

She "wants to be near William in the final weeks," another insider said. "It's important to her."

Kate is currently resting at the couple's home near William's Royal Air Force post in Anglesy, Wales, according to Us Weekly. The couple have an emergency plan in case should she go into labor early, with a helicopter set to fly her to London.

Wetpaint.com reports that Kate has been shopping around for the two nurseries for the royal baby: one at her newly renovated apartment at Kensington Palace, and another at her parents' home in the small English town of Buckleberry.

Despite reports that Kate likes bargain-hunting, the Duchess knew the importance of a fancy stroller. The royal blue, striped Bugaboo brand chameleon cost around $1,800. The color scheme is unisex, since Will and Kate have publicly decided not to find out the baby's gender beforehand.
