Serena Williams Wimbledon 2013: Rumored Lover Patrick Mouratoglou Ignoring Maria Sharapova Comments? Serena’s Coach Stays Focused On Tennis Tournament

Patrick Mouratoglou, Serena Williams' rumored boyfriend, stayed out of a personal spat between the American tennis star and Maria Sharapova, saying he's only focused on the sport.

"I don't think anything about it (about what Sharapova said)," Mouratoglou told The Guardian newspaper.

"My role is to think about tennis and to help Serena be the best she can be and do what she wants to achieve. I'm just here for tennis."

The conflict between Serena Williams and Sharapova began when Rolling Stone posted an article revealing that Williams badgered Sharapova and her relationship with Bulgarian tennis star Grigor Dimitrov, Serena's rumored ex-boyfriend.

"There are people who live, breathe and dress tennis. I mean, seriously, give it a rest," Serena Williams said indirectly referencing Sharapova.

"She begins every interview with 'I'm so happy. I'm so lucky' - it's so boring. She's still not going to be invited to the cool parties. And, hey, if she wants to be with the guy with a black heart, go for it."

The feud between Serena Williams intensified after Maria Sharapova responded to her comments and was spotted holding hands with boyfriend Dimitrov in London.

"If she wants to talk about something personal, maybe she should talk about her relationship and her boyfriend that was married and is getting a divorce and has kids," Sharapova told reporters during a press conference.

Mouratoglou has not responded to Maria Sharapova's comments and remains focused on the Serena Williams' participation in the Wimbledon 2013.
