'Fifty Shades of Grey Release Date August 1; Author Of Erotic Novel, E.L. James, Included In Forbes Celebrity 100

Fans of the erotic EL James novel can witness its highly anticipated movie version as “Fifty Shades of Grey” date for theater release is now set on August 1. Furthermore, E.L. James was regarded by Forbes Magazine as the highest-ranking author of Forbes Celebrity 100.

Lots of “Fifty Shades of Grey” rumors especially about its casting has been going around the online world but a new and official announcement came, announcing the official theater release of the movie version. Focus Features reveals via Facebook about “Fifty Shades of Grey” date of release in North America, opening in theaters in August 1 of this year.

Furthermore, the “Fifty Shades of Grey” date of release on various parts of the world will follow after its domestic showing in the US. The post says, “The Focus Features domestic theatrical release will be in theaters nationwide. Universal Pictures International is releasing the movie in the rest of the world.”

The announcement for the Fifty Shades of Grey date of movie release came a week after revealing that Sam Taylor-Johnson will be the director of the movie version of the best-selling book. International Business times reported that Taylor-Johnson will be working together with Kelly Marcel, who is adapting the novel into a screenplay. Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti, are the film producer along with the book author included in Forbes Top 100, E.L. James.

However, despite the “Fifty Shades of Grey” release date news, fans seems to be more excited about the actors and actresses who will play the characters in the novel, especially the protagonists, Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. Ian Somerhalder, Stephen Amell and Robert Pattinson (to play the highly coveted character of the 27-yr old billionnaire) were all linked to a horde of “Fifty Shades of Grey” cast rumors that continue to grow even louder.

Meanwhile, CS Monitor reported that “Fifty Shades of Grey” author, E.L. James got the 42nd spot on the list of Forbes Celebrity 100, the highest of any author. The author, with real name, Erika Leonard James, released her first book in the trilogy in 2011.

Aside from the first installment of “Fifty Shades of Grey”, Universal Pictures and Focus Features has the rights to the other books two in the trilogy, the“Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed.”
