iOS 7 Beta Download: New Feature From Apple Lets Users Control iPhone Through Head Gestures

With the latest iOS 7 beta download released, Apple users can control their iPhones by simply moving their head sideways, left or right.

The new feature included in the iOS 7 beta download can be found at the Accessibility settings of the iPhone and other Apple mobile devices. Venture Beat reported that this head gesture features are only intended for users who cannot access the on-screen controls of the iPhone.

The user who have already installed the iOS 7 beta download file only needs to activate the "Switch Control" option to enable him or her to attach a left or right movement, which will highlight an on-screen option and select it.

For now, the use of this new feature created within iOS 7 beta download may sound very minimal today, but eventually, this "camera-based gesture-sensing technology" may eventually be useful in apps and the operating system in general. However, there is no clarity yet regarding how Apple will integrate the "gestures' features into iOS at large and it is also possible that it will just be confined as an option for accessibility, as mentioned by the report from Venture Beat.

But this kind of new technology that Apple created for iOS 7 beta download creates interesting questions about its possible utilization for Apple's future products such as iWatch smartwatch, Apple TV products and other computing devices.

It's not entirely clear how Apple might incorporate gestures into iOS, and very possible that they will remain simply for the purposes of accessibility. However, the fact that Apple is building this technology raises interesting questions about their use in future Apple TV products, an iWatch smartwatch, or other computing devices.

The latest version of the iOS in its testing stage, the iOS 7 beta 2 download is now compatible for iPad Mini, 4th generation of iPad, iPod touch 5th generation, iPhone 5, 4 and 4S. Those member of Apple's developer program can get the iOS 7 beta download for free.
