'The Sims 3: Island Paradise' Now Available; The Newest Expansion Pack From EA Released Worldwide

"Sims 3: Island Paradise" expansion pack is now available for PC and Mac users.

According to IT News Africa, EA announced today that retailers across the world already have the latest expansion pack for the third installment of the most popular simulation game, "The Sims 3 Island Paradise."

"Sims 3 Island Paradise" download will bring the Sims to a watery and tropical adventure as they dive beneath the waves, build their houseboat and cruise along to find secret islands, run a five-star resort and a lot more.

In a report from GameZone, a statement from the producer of The Sims, Ryan Vaughan, was cited, and it says, "In The Sims 3 Island Paradise, The Sims Studio has brought to life a tropical vacation for players to experience without ever having to leave home. With so many new gameplay features included in this game, players will be able to explore, inhabit and discover beachside bliss just as they would in real life."

Aside from the announcement regarding the market availability of "The Sims 3 Island Paradise", EA also revealed that there will be a stuff pack (still untitled) that is set for release this year, during the Fall season, as reported by Zackz. The upcoming Stuff Pack will offer accessories that are used in different movie sets. Furthermore, after the release of "The Sims 3 Island Paradise" another expansion pack will also be arriving, around the time of release of the Stuff Pack. The upcoming expansion pack will "enable The Sims characters to travel to the future," Zacks noted.

The "Sims 3 Island Paradise" is now available in various retailers in North America, with a price tag of $39.99. There are also online retailers that offer a direct "The Sims 3 Island Paradise" download. The expansion pack is compatible to both PC and Mac.
