Niall Horan Girlfriend Confirms Relationship? Zoe Whelan Says ‘It’s A Secret,’ Hints at Romance With One Direction Singer And Receives Death Threats

Niall Horan, One Direction singer, has been linked to Irish model Zoe Whelan.

The Irish Herald asked Whelan if there was a romance brewing between her and Niall.

"It's a secret really," she said.

The 18-year-old knows how to be coy. She didn't deny a relationship, but she also didn't profess her love for Niall.

The brunette model is known to be a close friend of the Horan family and attended the wedding of Niall's older brother Gregg in March, where Niall served as best man, Entertainment Wise reports.

When asked if she liked One Direction and their music, she replied just as demurely: "I love listening to music. And I do like their songs."

Unfortunately for Whelan, since she has been connected to Niall in the media she has received death threats from jealous fans.

"You get nasty and mean comments. I've had a few death threats which is really scary," she admitted. "I just ignore them; I try not to pay them any attention."

On the other hand, the attention has helped her aspiring modeling career. "The reaction to modelling has been positive by and large," she said. "I love modelling -- who wouldn't like getting paid to look good?" 

"A lot of girls have said nice things," she added.

Whelan attributes her support from friends and family for going for her dreams. "My friends and family and everyone around me is very supportive. They have always told me to go for it," she said.

Despite Zoe's hints at romance, Niall confirmed he was single around the time of the rumors on Twitter during a Q & A with fans, Entertainment Wise writes.
