Italy Vs. Uruguay FIFA Confederations Cup 2013: Preview, Score, Highlights And Free Online Live Streaming [WATCH HERE]

Italy will face off against Uruguay in a FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 semifinal match on Sunday, a game that will determine which team will win third place of the tournament that has been held in Brazil.

Italy, originally in Group A of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013, had an impressive performance in the initial stages of the tournament, as they defeated Mexico 2-1 and beat Japan 4-3.

But Italy's team also lost to Brazil 4-2 and had a rough time defeating Japan after the Asian team scored three goals at the game's onset.

Uruguay, on the other hand, had a rough onset, losing 2-1 to Spain in Recife. But the South American team eventually managed to raise its game after defeating Nigeria 2-1 and Tahiti 8-0.

Uruguay's coach, Oscar Tabarez, will have veteran defender Andres Scott available again after a one-match ban and will decide whether to stick Edinson Cavani, Luis Suarez and Diego Forlan up front once again, BBC Sports reports.

Italy's coach, Cesare Prandelli, will look to place the same squad he's used in previous games for the upcoming match against Uruguay, but will also place a tight defensive line to protect against strikers Luis Suarez and Diego Forlan (if they are paced in the starting squad), BBC Sports also reports.

"If we play like this we are in a position to play anyone, and that is ground that we have gained for the qualifiers ahead," said Tabarez, according to BBC Sports.

"We can compete with top-level teams. That's a plus when it comes to playing future matches."
