iOS 7 Rumors: Allowing iPhone and iPad Control With Head Movements? iOS 7 Beta 3 Release Date Pegged for July 8th?

The idea of controlling an iPhone or iPad with a gesture may not be too farfetched. According to 9 to 5 Mac, Apple is said to have included a head movement feature in its latest iOS 7 beta version.

With a simple quick jerk of the head to the left or right, users could be able to get to the home page, select apps, or control the device's volume.

In additional news, it appears that Apple is pushing ahead with its development of iOS 7 as the iOS 7 beta 3 release date is scheduled for July 8th, according to cnet.com.

Earlier this month, Apple introduced iOS 7 for the first time to developers and consumers. The software is a big time change from previous versions of iOS, bringing not only new features, but a new look to the table as well. The software will be coming out to iPhone and iPad owners sometime this fall though Apple hasn't released a specific date.

It has released an iOS 7 beta however and the company is currently on its second version, iOS 7 beta 2 which rolled out to iPhone and iPad owners just a short time ago, cnet reported. Typically, Apple takes around two weeks to release its iOS 7 beta software to developers. And it appears that the company remains on track as the next iOS 7 beta, iOS 7 beta 3, is rumored to be coming out on July 8th.

The feature is apparently an accessibility option, which means it would have to be turned on by the user. Typically accessibility options are for people with disabilities who are hearing, vision, or physically impaired. It appears the feature can also be customized for each individual user.
