Brazil Vs. Spain Score And Highlights: FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 [VIDEO]

Brazil defeated Spain 3-0 in the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 final match on Sunday, in a match between the "best of the world" against the "best in history."

Watch a video of the highlights here:

Two minutes into the game, Fred poked the ball into Spain's coal to bump the South American team up to a 1-0 lead, the Bleacher Report writes.

After Brazil scored its first goal, Luiz Felipe Scolari sent his players out with the express purpose of hounding Spain whenever they had the ball, and then using Hulk and Neymar out wide to break quickly - it was a strategy that worked to perfection in the first half, the Bleacher Report also writes.

David Luiz shot past the defensive line and goalie in the 40th minute but was blocked by Luiz Felipe Scolari.

Later in the match, Neymar scored his seventh foal in nine matches and fourth of the tournament after he scored once in each of Brazil's three group stages, according to the Bleacher Report.

Brazil finished the Group Stage of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 with an impressive victory record - they defeated Japan 3-0, Mexico 2-0 and Italy 4-2.

But Spain also had an extraordinary performance within Group B - the Europeans defeated Uruguay 2-1, Tahiti 10-0 and Nigeria 3-0.

"The Spanish team under its experienced coach, Vicente Del Bosque, is not noted for seeking excuses. Indeed, it is so long now, three years and counting, that Spain has lost a meaningful contest that it would be ludicrous to complain. Nevertheless, its journey to Sunday's last game puts it at a disadvantage," the New York Times wrote in their pre-game review.
