Jessica Simpson Gives Birth To Second Child Sunday: The Name Of The Boy Is Ace

Jessica Simpson gives birth to her second child with husband Eric Johnson on Sunday.

After pushing out her first daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson and after Jessica Simpson gives birth to her second child, the name of the baby boy is revealed to be Ace Knute Johnson.

The singer and actress gave birth through a C-section and former NFL tight End Eric Johnson waited as his second child in less than a year was born. Jessica Simpson gives birth and she might feel relieved because she said this pregnancy was not as easy as the first.

"This pregnancy is the complete opposite. Like with Maxwell, I felt amazing. Like I could do everything, eat everything. Do whatever I wanted. I had a lot of energy," she recalled on an interview with Ellen DeGeneres while pregnant. "This time around . . . I'm like exhausted. Eating Tums. That's my snack of choice."

Simpson had to stop her Weight Watchers diet, but did reveal prior to C-section that she was in the works for a new show on NBC. The show would follow her around like the reality series on MTV that made her more of a star than she already was at the time in "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica." This show would be her playing herself and possibly Eric Johnson making the transition from football star into reality star.
