Jessica Simpson Welcomes Baby Boy-- And Releases The Name Immediately (Unlike Kim Kardashian)

Jessica Simpson has had a baby-and it's a boy!

Jessica Simpson gave birth to her second child, Ace Knute. Jessica's daughter has a new little playmate.

A rep officially confirmed that Simpson, 32, and fiancé Eric Johnson, 33, a former NFL player, gave birth. The rep reported, "Ace Knute (pronounced Ka-nute) Johnson has arrived! Mom and baby are doing great. Jessica, Eric and Maxwell are thrilled to welcome the new addition to their family."

Jessica Simpson's baby was born by planned C- section. Simpson first confirmed pregnancy rumors in December by tweeting a photo of her daughter, Maxwell, above the words, "BIG SIS." Maxwell was born last May.

The two pregnancies were very different, though, as Simpson told Jimmy Kimmel in March.

"The crazy thing is, I never knew a wiener could actually make me nauseous," she said. "

She paused and revealed the baby's gender, announcing: "Well I guess I just told the world that I'm having a boy!"

Simpson, a singer and apparel designer, most recently appeared on NBC's "Fashion Star."
